About the Role
As a Live Sound Engineer at Century, you will be responsible for setting up and operating FOH/mons systems for a wide range of live events. You will work closely with directors, production teams, and other technical staff to ensure every performance sounds great and runs smoothly.
Key Priorities
* Operating and mixing FOH / MON for all types of live performances
* Familiar with Analogue and Digital audio systems
* Has used and is familiar with a selection of Analogue and Digital Consoles
* Patching and mic'ing techniques for live performances
* Conducting regular cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of sound equipment
* Representing the Group through liaison with Tour Managers, Production Managers, Artists, Promoters and our Clients on show days
* Troubleshooting and problem solving for audio systems
* Maintaining a safe working environment by conforming to all established safety policies and procedures
* Taking responsibility of stage and production areas
* Reporting at end of event
What You'll Need
* Proven experience as a Sound Operator, preferably within the live entertainment industry
* Strong knowledge of audio consoles, fixtures, and other related equipment
* Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‐paced environment
* Excellent problem‐solving skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and teamwork abilities
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays, as required by event schedules. This is not a 9 to 5 position and requires the individual to work evenings and most weekends. It will require the individual to have a high degree of flexibility in their work times
