Position Summary
We’re looking for a confident, adaptable, and collaborative training specialist to step into a 12-month maternity cover role – someone who thrives in ambiguity, leads with initiative, and brings clarity and calm through change.
This a great opportunity for an individual with a passion for implementing new and innovative training solutions. The following qualities are potentially more important than the extent of your actual experience in Training: Because you will be able to shape and develop elements of your role that are not set in stone today, it is important you are comfortable with a degree of ambiguity and are energised by that. You will also be naturally curious; someone who proactively seeks out or creates new opportunities. You ‘roll your sleeves up’ and get stuff done to make it happen. You are low fuss, willing to give things a go and learn, and move on if it doesn’t work. It is just who you are, and how your friends describe you.
This will be a busy role, one where you’ll have a lot of moving pieces to juggle, operating in a fast-paced environment and virtual business model, while working with different cultures and across time zones. You will work with a wide range of staff (at all levels) across the globe as well as your global team, so you must be comfortable in developing strong working relationships with all, no matter their role, seniority, or location.
This is a role for someone who builds trust quickly, communicates with care, and can rally people through change. You’ll be measured by outcomes (not intentions) and work alongside and supported by an experienced team that values clarity, creativity, and mutual respect.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive and enhance the firm’s global training programme, specifically:
- Develop, nurture and enable great stakeholder relationships across NAM, LATAM and Europe promoting best practice within the global consultant community and Global Services.
- Manage the apprenticeship program supporting the global consultants through it to successful completion.
- Support the planning and delivery of our annual ANZ regional training week (Summer Camp) held in January.
2. Shape and execute firm-wide training initiatives
- Manage the logistics for global training programs, including scheduling, facilitator coordination, materials preparation, and participant communications.
- Work with subject matter experts and learning designers to support the setup and smooth running of programs.
- Track participation and feedback to help improve future sessions.
3. Support the Global Head of Training with projects related to CI and capability building as required
- Take ownership of specific process improvement initiatives that align with the department’s rolling quarterly priorities.
4. Undertake ad-hoc administrative and general support as needed
- Contribute to day-to-day global team operations, maintaining a high standard of customer service across routine tasks and ongoing responsibilities.
What You’ll Bring - Critical
Experience
- Strong generalist background training ideally with 5+ years of experience.
- Attention to detail and quality assurance – builds error-checking into own workflow.
- Demonstrated experience working across regions and time zones in professional services or similarly fast-paced, high-performance environments.
Skills
- Enthusiastic, flexible can – do attitude and team approach plus strong customer focus
- Take personal responsibility and accountability
