The Deakin University Faculty of Health is seeking an experienced professional to lead unit and course teaching teams within The School of Nursing and Midwifery for undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development of effective unit/course curricula and learning materials in collaboration with other teaching teams.
* Integrate industry, clinical and/or research practice into unit/course design to enhance student learning experiences, engagement and outcomes.
* Design collaborative learning opportunities at the course level and create accessible and inclusive unit and course materials and practices to support diverse learners.
* Develop assessment tasks and rubrics at unit and course levels; provide clear criteria and timely feedback to demonstrate learning outcomes.
* Contribute to securing funding for research and creative activities, including applications for external grants.
Required Qualifications and Skills
* Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a registered nurse.
* A PhD in a relevant discipline or equivalent qualifications and experience.
* An excellent record of scholarly teaching in undergraduate and/or postgraduate programs, including innovative curriculum design.
* Demonstrated leadership skills in teaching, research and administration.
