**About you**
We have a temporary opportunity (up to 12 months) in our Human Resources team in Central Sydney as a Human Resources Business Partner.
Human Resources is the backbone of our organisation. Our role is to support our people to deliver high-quality front-line services for Legal Aid NSW clients.
As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will provide consistent, culturally appropriate, expert advice and support to a range of leaders and staff across our organisation. You will manage the provision of specialised and strategic human resource services for your clients.
You need to be a highly motivated and experienced human resources professional who thrives on the challenge of driving organisational change. You can balance strategic and operational responsibilities. You are an experienced team player with superior communication and influencing skills and demonstrated ability to identify and lead key HR initiatives to support the business in optimising their workforce and achieving strategic goals.
**The essential requirements for this role**
You must:
- have a tertiary qualification in Human Resource Management or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience in Human Resources (or both).
- hold Australian or NZ citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency (for ongoing vacancies) or a valid visa to work in Australia (for temporary vacancies).
- be willing to undertake a Criminal Record Check.
- be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before you start work with us.
