Position Summary
* Assist with the preparation and cooking of food according to recipes quality and presentation standards focusing on attention to detail
* Follow a food preparation checklist and establish priority items
* Prepare ingredients for cooking including portioning chopping and storing food before use
* Develop strong food safety and cleaning skills to ensure assigned kitchen section is properly maintained
* Wash and disinfect kitchen area tables tools knives and equipment
* Be the connecter and facilitator of collective power and assist the kitchen team in operational tasks and duties
* Ensure all food is prepared and presented in a way that aims to exceed guest expectations
About You
* Trade Industry Qualification or completion of Commercial Cookery Qualification
* Passion for the industry
Relevant experience in a similar role
* Working rights in Australia
