The role of an Assistant Principal - Teaching and Learning involves overseeing the development, provision, and evaluation of a school's education program. The position requires significant decision-making authority within the framework of the school's strategic plan, policies, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervision and coordination of senior curriculum or level coordinators
* Allocation of budgets, positions of responsibility, and other resources
* Supervision of the delivery of teaching programs
* Management of programs to improve staff knowledge and experience
* Responsibility for general discipline matters beyond classroom teachers and year level coordinators
