Job Description
We’re looking for a Commercial Account Manager to join Procore’s Sales team. In this role, you’ll serve as the main point of contact for existing strategic mid-size accounts, leveraging your understanding of Procore’s products and processes to maximize renewals and expansion.
As a Commercial Account Manager, you’ll collaborate with Customer Success, Sales team members, and Solution Specialists to maintain and grow our customer revenue base.
This position is based in Sydney, Australia, reporting to the Senior Manager, Commercial Account Managers. We are open to candidates interested in starting a sales career at Procore now or in the future, as this is an ongoing, open requisition.
What you’ll do:
* Act as the main contact for your geographic territory, maintaining and developing customer relationships, highlighting the value of Procore and its products, and deepening customer engagement.
* Work cross-functionally with Inside Sales Reps, Product Solution Specialists, and Customer Success Engineers to drive product adoption, retention, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities.
* Research accounts, identify key champions, generate interest, and gather business requirements.
* Maintain accurate forecasts and provide sales activity reports to management.
* Research competitors to effectively communicate our value proposition.
* Manage leads, opportunities, and account information within Salesforce.com.
* Achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
* Coordinate internal resources to resolve client issues and execute service agreements.
* Travel periodically for client onsite visits.
What we’re looking for:
* 5+ years of successful software sales experience, preferably B2B.
* Experience with consultative, solution-based sales methodologies.
* Proven success in inside sales, pipeline development, and forecasting.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced sales environment and develop trusted relationships.
* Experience with post-sale revenue expansion is preferred.
* Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com.
