This position will assist in the delivery of clinical services complemented by wellbeing supports, peer involvement and lived experience perspectives.Key responsibilitiesDeliver treatment co-designed with clients, following a structured approach with shared care and a recovery-based modelRecognise and respond to deterioration in mental state and coordinate with the team to maintain safety and ensure client/family/carer preferences are supportedOffer psychoeducation to clients and their families on mental health conditions, treatments, coping strategies and ongoing support resourcesFacilitate referrals to Area Mental Health & Wellbeing and other services through assessments, psychiatric evaluations, crisis coordination and expert mental health adviceParticipate in multi-disciplinary teams, offering discipline-specific advice and guidance to staff and studentsProvide evidence-based group sessionsActively participate in mandatory meetings as required and requestedMaintain core clinical competence specific to the area of clinical practiceQualifications/experienceBachelor Qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy or NursingRegistration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist, Psychologist or Registered NurseRegistration as a Mental Health Social Worker with AASWMinimum of 5 years' experienceA Current Australian Drivers LicenseWell-developed interpersonal skills, including strong written and verbal communication abilitiesRelevant Post Graduate Qualifications/ Certifications in Psychiatric-Mental Health Nursing and/or equivalentWorking for ERHAt ERH we offer a supportive and inclusive culture that offers opportunity for growth and development.
