About ASC

ASC is Australia's submarine company. We built the Royal Australian Navy's Collins Class submarines, sustain them, and are now delivering their Life of Type Extension to increase the boats' service lives. We have also been selected by the Australian Government to sustain and jointly build the nation's nuclear-powered submarines – the largest and most complex industrial undertaking in Australia's history.

Our work is interesting and meaningful, contributing directly to Australia's national security. We offer rewarding roles that provide the opportunity to grow your career, and the flexibility to balance life and work. A career at ASC is like no other, delivering a deeper purpose we can all be proud of.

ASC's Graduate Program:

ASC's Graduate Program commencing in January or July 2026 is a structured 2-year program, where you will rotate through a number of specialist areas across the business in South Australia and Western Australia, allowing you to understand submarines, inside and out.

As a graduate at ASC, you will be working on unique, challenging and interesting projects. You will be provided with all the tools, mentoring, and experience required to excel through the program, with access to a cutting-edge team of specialists and expert leadership to guide you throughout.

Our program will challenge you, broaden your knowledge, and provide opportunities to build networks and grow personally and professionally within a dynamic, inclusive, and supportive culture. You will build your knowledge on submarines through on-the-job training, engaged as part of the team, plus offsite training and development days, setting the foundation for your career in defence.

Following successful completion of the program, you will have the opportunity to continue your career within your preferred specialist department.
