About the Project: Carmody's Hill Wind Farm
DT Infrastructure has been awarded the full Balance of Plant scope for the Carmody's Hill Wind Farm project in the Mid North region of South Australia.
The 256 MW utility‐scale wind farm, developed by Aula Energy and Renewable Project Services, is scheduled to commence construction in early 2026, with operations expected to begin in late 2028.
About the Position
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer – Civil and Senior Project Engineer – Electrical to join us on this once‐in‐a‐generation project! Reporting to the Area Manager – Civil and Area Manager – Electrical, you'll be working within the Civils or Electrical team and accountable for providing engineering, technical, quality support and other duties as delegated by the Project Manager and Operations Manager.
These are permanent full‐time positions with DTI and there will be opportunities to grow and move onto future projects. There will be an opportunity for either DIDO from SA working on a 5:2 roster or FIFO from WA on a 2:1 roster.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the development of comprehensive project plans for assigned projects or work packages, including detailed work breakdown structures (WBS), schedules, resource allocation, and budget forecast.
* Oversee and manage the day‐to‐day execution of Civil or Electrical engineering and construction activities on site, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and according to plan. Interpret and implement complex engineering drawings, specifications, and contractual documents.
* Ensure project deliverables meet defined quality standards and technical specifications. Provide expert technical guidance and clarification to site personnel, design teams, and subcontractors regarding engineering drawings, specifications, and construction methods.
* Lead the identification and resolution of complex technical issues, design discrepancies, and construction challenges that arise during project execution.
Qualifications & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil or Electrical) from an accredited institution.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience working within a Senior Project Engineer or Project Engineer position in the construction industry.
* Bulk earthworks and experience required for the Civil scope.
* Minimum of 3 years' experience with developing and managing project schedules.
* Project planning / management skills.
* Experienced and able to prepare and analyse tenders and estimates.
* Demonstrable and successful experience in a business / project operations management role gained at similar level.
* Demonstrated ability in proactively build relationships with key stakeholders and develop new business opportunities.
