Senior Associate - Employment Lawyer
A career-defining opportunity has arisen for an experienced employment lawyer to lead our Melbourne office's employment practice.
* Advise clients on strategic employment law compliance and risk mitigation in relation to workplace policies and practices;
* Collaborate with external counsel to develop case strategies and achieve favourable outcomes through negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings when necessary;
* Manage the defence and resolution of employment claims including drafting defences, responses, and settlement agreements;
* Provide comprehensive legal advice on employment law matters, ensuring alignment with applicable legislation and regulations;
* Conduct thorough investigations and fact-finding related to employment disputes, providing actionable insights;
* Regularly review relevant case law and legislative changes to ensure up-to-date knowledge and expertise;
* Conduct effective research and analysis to deliver timely, commercial, and legally accurate advice;
* Oversee a robust workload, prioritizing tasks effectively and delivering high-quality services;
* Develop a deep understanding of client operations and strategy, driving business growth and success;
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by delivering tailored legal solutions that meet their unique needs and expectations;
