Position Description
Reporting directly into the Payroll Manager, and working among a supportive team, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
* Process weekly & monthly payroll for 1,000+ employees
* Process new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
* Calculation of PAYG, Payroll Tax, and Superannuation payments
* Provide accurate information in a timely manner in response to employee queries
* Complete relevant reporting duties
* Additional duties to assist the broader team
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar Payroll position, as well as the following attributes:
* Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong attention to detail and positive working approach
* Ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment
* A go-getter attitude and willingness to learn
* Ability to build relationships with internal staff members
* Strong problem solving and analytical skills
* Prior experience using Micropay is highly advantageous
