About the Role
* Facilitate collaboration across agencies and communities to build shared understanding and strengthen community resilience.
* Cultivate strong partnerships with local stakeholders to integrate evidence-based practices that support community-based outcomes.
* Work closely with regional teams to develop and implement place-based initiatives that reduce bushfire risk and enhance community preparedness.
You will work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, to engage with volunteers and community groups. Some regional travel is required, with a vehicle provided.
Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in social science or community development, or 3+ years equivalent experience in community development and place-based approaches.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to form genuine relationships and partnerships to achieve collaborative outcomes.
* Excellent communication skills, with experience using various facilitation methods to exchange ideas and insights.
