About the role
You'll report to the Store Manager and be the go-to paint expert for customers and trade partners. Whether it's automotive, marine, industrial or residential projects, you'll help customers choose the right products, match colours precisely and keep the store running like clockwork.

What you'll do
* Deliver exceptional customer service across all paint ranges and consumables.
* Tint and mix paint and use colour-matching software to bring ideas to life.
* Process sales and invoices using our point-of-sale systems; handle phone and email orders.
* Prepare quotes quickly and follow up on outstanding orders with suppliers.
* Pick, pack and organise deliveries, and receipt incoming stock against purchase orders.
* Keep the showroom and warehouse presentation-ready, including light housekeeping tasks.
* Support warehouse operations and be ready to help across the store as needed.
* Resolve customer enquiries and complaints with professionalism and care.
* Follow Workplace Health & Safety procedures at all times.
* Perform other reasonable duties as directed to support the team.
What we're looking for
* Experience in sales or a related trade; knowledge of architectural paint products is a plus.
* Strong communication skills—clear on the phone and face-to-face.
* Customer-first attitude with pride in building long-term relationships.
* Organised and detail-oriented, with excellent time management.
* Physically capable of handling weights of 20kg+.
* Forklift licence preferred but not essential.
* Experience in similar industries will be highly regarded.
