Job Description:
This role acts as a visual deterrent to theft and fraud, promoting compliance with merchandise protection policies.
Main objectives include responding to incidents, managing customer access to tethered items, and ensuring all security systems are operational.
Responsibilities:
* Deter theft and fraud through high-profile activities and exceptional customer service
* Manage store alarm codes, CCTV, monitors, tethers, tags, locks, safes, and ensure they are operational at all times
* Respond to EAS gate activations, gather evidence, and refer serious incidents to the Loss Prevention Manager
* Ensure compliance with merchandise protection policies and review EAS to CCTV reports for any thefts
The ideal candidate will possess strong conflict resolution and relationship-building skills, a results-oriented mindset, and flexibility for local travel and varied hours.
Ideal Qualifications:
* Current Security Industry Employee Licence
* Driver's license and access to a vehicle
* Minimum 3 years Loss Prevention experience
