We are looking for dedicated professionals who want to make a real difference in the lives of those they treat. Our two-year graduate program is designed to support graduates on their journey to become skilled physiotherapists.
You'll work with a team of experienced allied health professionals, supporting clients on their journey back to work and life after physical or psychological injury. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing initial rehabilitation assessments and planning to assist clients with physical injuries and psychosocial barriers to participate in graduated return to work programs.
* Managing cases for clients transitioning back to the same or new employment.
* Delivering services within your scope of practice, such as:
o Worksite assessments
o Functional capacity evaluations
o Ergonomic assessments for home, office, and vehicle environments
o Injury prevention training tailored to client needs
o Work task analyses and job dictionary preparation
* Coordinating a holistic treatment approach, liaising with treating practitioners to monitor progress and adjust plans.
* Collaborating with medical teams to assess clients' health and work capacity.
* Documenting case notes and reports.
* Supporting veterans in achieving their psychosocial, medical, and vocational goals.
* Gaining experience across various insurance schemes and working with self-insured employers.
* Training to deliver virtual reality empowered pain programs for clients with persistent pain.
