The Team: Merchant Services Production Support
The Merchant Services Production Support team is a global group that monitors and tracks merchant services production systems worldwide. We work closely with business stakeholders and provide application support, interacting regularly with development and infrastructure teams to track and manage all production incidents and ensure proper documentation.
Your Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver high-quality application support for in-house and cloud-deployed applications.
2. Analyze reported issues, engaging relevant investigation teams to resolve them efficiently.
3. Evaluate the impact of production issues via analysis of logs and identify areas for improvement.
4. Drive discussions with partner teams to find resolutions to production issues.
5. Craft clear, concise communication on production incidents to share with stakeholders.
6. Identify platform vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement.
7. Maintain metrics to drive improvement in all areas of Production Services.
Your Qualifications
1. Proven leadership skills with excellent communication and documentation abilities.
2. Experience supporting applications in larger production environments.
3. Strong project and time management skills with a solid understanding of information systems elements.
4. Familiarity with database concepts, MS Office, and data flow through computer networks.
5. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
6. Solid understanding of the SDLC, ITIL processes, change management, release management, and configuration management.
7. Experience with analytics platforms like Splunk, Datadog, CloudWatch, or NewRelic.
8. Knowledge of monitoring platforms like SiteScope and Dynatrace.
9. Strong knowledge of cloud technology preferably AWS (EC2, ECS, ALB, NLB, RDS, SQS, CloudWatch).
10. Exposure to Point-of-Sale Technologies like PAX, Clover, Square.
