Talent Mining and Minerals is proud to be recruiting on behalf of our globally recognised client, an industry leader in delivering innovative technical solutions to the mining and industrial sectors. We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Technical Sales Representative to join their team in a remote role based in Kalgoorlie, WA. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling a range of pumps, wear parts, and abrasion-resistant solutions to clients across the mining, resources, and heavy industrial sectors. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude, industry knowledge, and a consultative sales approach to solve customer challenges and drive revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and securing new business opportunities. Product Knowledge & Support: Provide technical advice on product selection, wear solutions, pump performance, and maintenance best practices. Sales Process Execution: Manage the full sales cycle – from identifying leads, quoting, negotiating, and closing deals, to after-sales support. Site Visits & Problem-Solving: Conduct regular site visits to assess client needs, inspect worn equipment, and offer tailored solutions. Technical Proposals & Presentations: Prepare and deliver compelling proposals and product demonstrations to engineering and procurement teams. Reporting & Forecasting. Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, and market intelligence reports. Requirements: Proven sales experience in mining, resources or heavy industrial industries. Mechanical or engineering background preferred (trade qualified or technical certifications advantageous). Strong understanding of the mining, oil & gas, water, or industrial sectors. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to travel regionally for client visits and site inspections.
