Branch Manager (Auto Glass / Machinery Glass)
As the Branch Manager of an Andrew's Mobile Windscreens Townsville, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Branch.
This will include ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, exceptional quality control, operational efficiency, and team performance.
Reporting to the Group Operations Manager, you will lead a team of technicians and administrative staff. You will manage inventory, maintain safety and quality standards, and drive production and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, coach, and motivate a team of Autoglass technicians and customer service staff.
Handle recruitment, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
Operational Management:
Ensure timely and high-quality completion of repairs, replacements, and services.
Manage workflow to meet daily and weekly service targets.
Co-ordination of daily workshop tasks, on-site attendances, stock movements.
Customer Service:
Maintain a customer-focused environment; address escalated service issues.
Monitor and improve customer satisfaction ratings.
Develop relationships with customers, fielding any questions or concerns as they arise.
Sales & Business Development:
Promote branch services to increase sales and market share.
Identify and capitalize on local business opportunities and partnerships.
Positively promote business operations both through customer contact, and employee engagement.
Inventory & Budget Control:
Monitor inventory levels and place timely orders for stock, consumables, tooling, etc.
Control costs and contribute to meeting branch financial goals.
Development of KPI's.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the branch.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in automotive services, glass repair, or a related industry.
Prior management or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
Strong organizational and leadership skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Knowledge of inventory systems, scheduling software, and CRM tools is a plus.
Valid driver's license.
Preferred Skills:
Technical knowledge of automotive glass fitting and repair processes.
Ability to deal with all people, both in a leadership capacity, as well as being a valuable team member.
Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Experience managing budgets and KPIs.
