* $35.11 per hour + all overtime paid at penalty rates
* Permanent – Full Time – Crestmead, QLD
* Monday to Friday, up to 10 hours per day, return to base at the end of each shift
* Mobile phone provided for work‐related activities
* Early morning starts (4‐6 am) as per business requirements
* Induction and training provided; uniforms and PPE supplied
The Opportunity
Based at our Crestmead depot, this role will require you to service multiple customer sites within the greater metro area. Your responsibilities include collecting used lubricating oil in a rigid tanker truck and delivering it to our liquid recycling facility or storage facilities. You will work with a safe, modern, and reliable fleet. You are required to operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with company regulations and complete all paperwork and records accurately.
About You
* Must be available for an early morning start (4 am to 6 am, depending on the day)
* Comfortable climbing ladders to access the top of the tanker for tank dips
* Ability to work well in a team environment or independently as required
* Good verbal and written communication
* Tech‐savvy for use of electronic work diary, pre‐ and post‐vehicle checks, and customer service dockets
* Manual HR licence (or equivalent) as a minimum
* Good attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn
* Willing to undertake a pre‐employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test
* Must be able to obtain a National Police check (paid for by Cleanaway)
* Strong understanding of Chain of responsibility and NHVR requirements
* Great attitude towards safety and compliance
* Waste industry experience is not required
