PURPOSE OF JOB:
Reporting to the Sustainment Capability Manager, you will apply leadership, positive influence and effective communication to engage enterprise stakeholders to develop and maintain commitment to the JORN strategic asset management plan.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Lead and support internal and external audits to maintain the program ISO55001 asset management certification
* Provide leadership to a team, coach and develop personnel, fostering a high performance culture
* Develop and implement asset management strategies to maximise asset utilisation and value for money outcomes
* Monitor the lifecycle of physical and financial assets, including acquisition, maintenance, depreciation, and disposal
* Co-ordinate the program total cost of ownership and Life Cycle Cost Model (LCCM) updates and deliveries
* Collaborate effectively with customers, internal and external stakeholders, establishing good relationships and maintaining a positive work culture
KEY CRITERIA:
* Extensive asset management experience – Relevant support engineering experience or relevant maintenance experience will also be considered
* People leadership experience and technical leadership experience
* Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and develop effective working relationships with stakeholders
* Knowledge/understanding of risk, cost analysis and finance
* Resiliency, good analytical and problem solving skills
* Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
