Employability Skills Trainer Role
Are you an experienced career counsellor or trainer looking for a challenging and rewarding role? We are seeking a skilled Employability Skills Trainer to join our team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with individuals to help them achieve their employment goals. You will deliver training programs, facilitate assessments, and provide support services to enable participants to become more competitive in the local labour market.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote APM's Employability Skills Training program
• Support participants to identify their skills and abilities and secure employment
• Develop career development plans for participants
• Organise, plan, implement, and facilitate training programs for participants
• Build relationships with local employers and community organisations
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
• Eligibility to work in Australia
• A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
• Willingness to complete a Criminal History Check
• Ability to pass a Working with Children Check
• Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm
• Certificate IV Training and Assessment (desirable)
