Base pay range
A$145,378.00/yr - A$168,130.00/yr
* DCS Clerk Grade 11/12 (base $145,378 - $168,130 + super + annual leave loading)
* 12 months temporary full-time opportunity (with potential for extension)
* Flexible working arrangements available - Sydney based
Role Purpose:
The Portfolio Engagement team is responsible for developing and executing an engagement strategy to gather input, secure buy-in, and drive collaboration across NSW Government agencies and stakeholders to support the NSW Digital Strategy and digital reform initiatives.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Strategic Communication: Ability to convey complex digital and data concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
* Stakeholder Management: Experience in stakeholder engagement, government relations, and managing relationships with agencies, industry, and stakeholders.
* Negotiation & Influence: Skills in building consensus, resolving conflicts, and aligning different groups.
* Policy & Government Knowledge: Understanding of NSW Government structures and decision-making processes.
* Facilitation & Consultation: Experience in workshops, interviews, and roundtables to gather insights.
* Change Management: Supporting agencies in understanding and adopting new policies.
* Digital & Data Literacy: Fundamental understanding of technology and data, industry trends, and translating complex concepts into insights.
* Project Coordination: Planning, tracking engagement, and integrating feedback into reports.
* Reporting: Familiarity with performance metrics, OKRs, briefing notes, and submissions.
About the role:
Working within the Digital Strategy, Investment & Assurance (DSIA) team at the centre of NSW Government, you will help enable government priorities through digital initiatives, setting strategic direction, transforming services, and delivering better outcomes.
Your day-to-day activities will include:
* Developing and maintaining stakeholder engagement plans for digital policies and programs.
* Researching industry trends, conducting consultations, workshops, and feedback sessions.
* Collaborating with agencies to track key performance metrics and data accuracy.
* Communicating findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
* Creating briefing notes, reports, and presentations.
* Supporting change management and resolving agency concerns.
* Managing relationships with customers to improve service delivery.
* Assisting agencies in navigating government complexities and promoting digital strategies.
