About the Role
Join a Government project delivery team where you will coordinate and manage end‐to‐end building project activities across pre‐design, design, documentation, contract administration and post‐construction phases. This role plays a key part in ensuring high‐quality project outcomes and effective stakeholder coordination.
What You Will Be Doing
* Coordinating and managing all aspects of building project implementation from pre‐design through to post‐construction.
* Assisting in ensuring the quality, suitability and successful delivery of building outcomes for stakeholders.
* Coordinating project staff, external consultants, contractors, managers and other internal business units to meet project objectives.
* Providing high‐level contract coordination across both traditional and non‐traditional contract systems.
* Managing projects to achieve scope, time, cost, cash‐flow and quality requirements, including daily client interaction.
* Coordinate project team members involved in pre‐design, documentation, contract administration and post‐construction phases.
* Leading negotiations with consultants, authorities, internal stakeholders and contractors to achieve value‐for‐money outcomes.
* Monitoring project performance, generating exception reports and undertaking project audits as required.
What We're Looking For
* Proven project management experience (client-side).
* Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g. Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Town Planning or Quantity Surveying) are highly regarded.
* Strong understanding of building and construction project lifecycles.
* Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple stakeholders.
* Confident negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
* A commitment to workplace health and safety.
* A valid driver's licence.
