About the Role We are seeking a skilled and motivated Formwork Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. The role involves planning, designing, and overseeing formwork systems to support safe and efficient concrete construction operations. Key Duties and Responsibilities Designing and developing formwork systems and temporary works solutions for a range of construction projects Preparing detailed engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications for formwork structures Assessing project requirements, site conditions, and load-bearing considerations to ensure safe and compliant designs Liaising with project managers, site supervisors, and construction teams to coordinate formwork installation and sequencing Reviewing and approving shop drawings and ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and project specifications Conducting site inspections to monitor progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure quality control Evaluating materials, labour requirements, and construction methodologies to optimise efficiency and cost-effectiveness Identifying and mitigating risks associated with temporary works and structural stability Assisting in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation Maintaining accurate technical documentation and reports Ensuring adherence to workplace health and safety regulations and company policies Skills and Experience Required Relevant qualifications At least 2-3 years demonstrated experience in formwork design and concrete construction Strong knowledge of structural principles, temporary works, and relevant Australian Standards Proficiency in engineering design software and drafting tools Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced construction environment What We Offer Competitive salary package Opportunity to work on diverse and challenging projects Supportive team environment Career development and progression opportunities Should you be interested, send your application ASAP!
