Job Title
A Medical Education Officer plays a pivotal role in delivering and supporting educational programs for doctors.
About the Role
* Deliver and support educational programs for prevocational doctors (PGY1 and PGY2).
* Develop and evaluate training programs aligned with Australian Medical Council's National standards for National Framework for prevocational Medical Training (NFPMT).
* Support the orientation, pastoral care, and career development of prevocational doctors.
* Collaborate with supervisors and stakeholders to provide education and training for Junior Doctors.
* Provide a support role to Senior and/or Principal Medical Education Officers and the Director of Clinical Training (or equivalent) in relation to Prevocational Medical Accreditation Queensland accreditation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess:
* A bachelor's degree in education / adult education, or health or related discipline.
* A professional clinical qualification with other formal qualifications in education and/or clinical teaching.
