Country and Outback Health is expanding its Pathways to Recovery program, actively supporting rural communities towards a happier and healthier life.
The program supports individuals with severe and complex mental illness through collaborative care coordination. Working alongside Peer Support Workers will be critical in the client recovery journey.
The Role
The Clinician contributes to focused psychological interventions and case coordination for clients with complex mental health concerns in primary care by:
* Collaboratively planning and implementing assessment and treatment services for individual clients.
* Providing goal-oriented therapeutic interventions and strategies for eligible clients.
* Working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have a genuine caring nature and excellent communication skills to build meaningful relationships.
You should also possess any of the following qualifications suitable for registration:
* Social Worker
* Psychologist / Provisional Psychologist / Occupational Therapist
* Registered Nurse (RN)
Desirable qualifications include minimum two years full-time post-graduate experience working within a primary/community mental health setting or equivalent.
Some out-of-hours work and intra-state travel may be required.
