We are seeking a highly skilled medical professional to join our anaesthesia team at Maitland Hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented anaesthetist to contribute to the growth and development of our department.
The successful candidate will work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide safe and effective perioperative care. They will also be involved in pre-operative assessments, acute and chronic pain management, and education and training programs.
* Our department provides anaesthetic services for general surgery, orthopaedics, obstetrics and gynaecology, urology, ENT, Paediatrics, ophthalmology, and more; anaesthetic support for endoscopy, diagnostic imaging, and interventional procedures.
* Maitland Hospital is equipped with cutting-edge operating theatres, advanced monitoring systems, and modern recovery/day stay units; expansion to 8 functional theatres with 2 procedural rooms; radiology and cardiology interventional services; a Level 5 Intensive Care Unit for post-operative and critical care needs.
