We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Assistant to join our team in Gawler and Elizabeth Vale, SA on a casual basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and support to our qualified Podiatrists. As an Allied Health Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth running of our clinic.
You will be responsible for assisting with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and maintaining accurate patient records. Additionally, you will provide patients with information and guidance on post-treatment care and ensure that the clinic's facilities, equipment, and supplies are well-organised and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist Podiatrists with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures
* Prepare treatment rooms and maintain all equipment and supplies
* Provide patients with information and guidance on post-treatment care
* Maintain accurate patient records and complete administrative tasks as required
* Ensure the clinic's facilities, equipment, and supplies are well-organised and well-maintained
Requirements
* Relevant qualifications in allied health, such as a Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (HLT32407 or HLT42507)
* Minimum Certificate III qualification in Allied Health Assistance is required for this position
* Previous experience working in a healthcare or allied health setting, preferably in a podiatry clinic
* A minimum of 6-12 months healthcare experience in an allied health setting is required
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the clinical team
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* A caring, patient-focused approach and a genuine desire to help others
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including some evenings and weekends
