Howles Pharmacy is seeking a passionate pharmacist to join our team in Tamworth NSW. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional pharmaceutical care and advice to our valued customers.
Howles Pharmacy is 100% locally owned and operated and has been servicing the Tamworth Community for 120 years.
About the role:
Full-Time or Permanent Part-Time.
You would be working with the owner well supported by Dispensary technicians, Pharmacy assistants and nursing staff.
Predominately weekdays but may include some weekend work. Exact days and hours are negotiable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
* Counsel patients on the proper use and potential side effects of medications
* Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
* Provide outstanding Customer Service & Health Advice
* Administer vaccinations as per state legislation
* Participate in new Pharmacist scope of practice areas
Requirements:
* Current AHPRA Registered Pharmacist
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with customers and healthcare providers
* Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to provide tailored pharmaceutical advice
* Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team
