Business Systems Support Analyst | Enterprise Systems
We are seeking a proactive, analytical professional with a strong understanding of business systems, software support, and user experience to join our Digital Services Directorate.
The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing our digital environment, working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to resolve issues, improve system functionality, and ensure our platforms meet the evolving needs of staff and students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyse and document user requirements and system issues.
* Provide expert support for enterprise applications, including triage, troubleshooting, and resolution.
* Collaborate with development and solutions teams to assess and implement system improvements.
* Assist with system upgrades, testing, and maintenance activities.
* Contribute to documentation, training, and user engagement to enhance digital adoption.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated ability to assess and interpret user needs and translate them into system requirements.
* Strong understanding of software design principles, program code, and relational databases.
* Completed a relevant IT degree with at least one year of experience in supporting information systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Experience with TechnologyOne applications.
* Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture and Agile methodologies.
* Exposure to Jira, Confluence, and ITIL frameworks.
