You'll work closely with engineering, survey and geology to drive weekly, monthly and quarterly plans using modern technology, strong systems and a supportive leadership structure.

The Role
* Prepare weekly schedules aligned with monthly and quarterly mine plans
* Provide clear work instructions for production and ancillary teams
* Oversee Drill & Blast QA/QC and support D&B optimisation
* Monitor compliance with schedules and production KPIs
* Work collaboratively with survey, geology and operations to optimise outcomes
* Deliver improvement projects focused on efficiency, cost reduction and safety
* Mentor graduates and junior engineers to build team capability
* Support technology initiatives, automation and modern mining methods
Duties & Responsibilities
* Prepare development and production designs using Deswik
* Produce short to medium‑term schedules aligned to stope sequences
* Conduct drill & blast reviews, QA/QC and continuous improvement
* Collaborate on paste fill, ventilation and operational inputs
* Monitor progress and reconcile actuals against design
* Maintain compliance with statutory and company standards
* Assist with studies, planning inputs and long‑term optimisation projects
Your Value
* A degree in Mining Engineering (or equivalent)
* Experience in mechanised hard‑rock underground operations
* Deswik CAD/Scheduler capability or willingness to learn quickly
* Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
* A collaborative, forward‑thinking mindset aligned to safety and continuous improvement
* The ability to work both independently and within a technically strong, supportive team

The Roster, Team & Lifestyle
FIFO or residential options depending on preference, operating on an 8:6 roster with travel in company time.
