Woomera require an experienced cook to join the team at Woomera Village, which is part of Woomera RAAF base. The Cook will be reporting to our Head Chef working in a busy, fast paced environment. This role is a temporary basis offering the ability to work full time hours on an ongoing basis working 40-45 hours weekly. You will receive an attractive hourly rate. Accommodation will be provided at no cost. Must relocate to Woomera, please note this role is not a FIFO role.
Responsibilities for the Role
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Have Cook experience and understand the requirements to provide good services
- Passion for the hospitality career
- Strong cooking skills
- Good understanding of Food Safety & Allergen Management
- Manage all internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Analytical mindset and ability to take ownership of the business
- Must be above average in Microsoft Office
- Previous experience in Jamix / Ariba procurement system and IM Point of Sales will be advantageous
- Be able to work in a fast environment and under pressure
- Solid time management skills
