About the role Rydges Newcastle is seeking an experienced Kitchen hand to join our fast paced and dynamic kitchen team.
To be considered for the role you would need to: The ability to work a 7 day rotating roster including Public Holidays Ensure that work is carried out in a timely and efficient fashion.
Attend and be responsible for all training provided to you by the kitchen and wider management team.
Maintain a clean and safe working area at all times.
Take responsibility for a variety of cleaning duties and responsibilities.
Maintain your self appearance in accordance with the hotel's grooming standards.
Comply with all of the established hotel operational policies & procedures.
Have a full knowledge of, and practice all of the hotel's established occupational health and safety guidelines (OH&S).
Perform any other duties as directed by the Executive Chef and wider management team.
About You Proven experience within a similar role will be highly regarded.
Attention to detail and willingness to learn .
Reliable, professional and personable, with a can do attitude.
A willingness to use initiative and strong problem solving skills.
Flexible and adaptable to the fast paced & dynamic hotel industry.
Flexibility and can work 7 day rotating roster including weekends and Public Holidays.
