About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Collections Manager responsible for managing and developing a team of 9 Collections Officers. The role oversees end-to-end collection activities for all non-supermarket customers, manages bad debt provisions, and ensures team compliance with the Group Credit Policy. The role also focuses on employee engagement and reports to the Group Manager of Credit.
Responsibilities
Lead and develop the Non-Grocery Collections Team
Enhance team engagement through collaboration and coaching
Achieve targets while adhering to the Group Credit Policy
Build and maintain relationships with Sales, Customers, and the wider credit team
Develop collection strategies and seek continuous process improvements
About You
Proven experience leading a high-performing Collections/Credit team
Business or accounting degree/qualification advantageous
Experience in Project/Process Improvement
Strong knowledge of credit/collections controls and working with auditors
Excellent communication skills, ability to handle tough conversations and challenging stakeholders
