This is a fixed term, full-time position commencing ASAP up until January 2027 with possible extension (12 months)
The Student Achievement Group comprises the Statewide Services and the Workforce Divisions. Together, these divisions provide a clear focus on promoting and developing excellence in teaching and leadership to support optimal outcomes for every student.
The Role
The successful candidate will manage the secretariat function of the Taskforce and contribute to developing, implementing and evaluating policies, systems, procedures and initiatives related to the work of the Workload Intensification Taskforce (Taskforce). They will be expected to support the Taskforce to undertake comprehensive research to identify best practice models, trends and issues on a national and international basis related to Taskforce initiatives.
The Senior Project Officer is the secretariat of the Taskforce and supports the Taskforce by managing and analysing data and information collections to meet requirements for reporting purposes, preparing Ministerial responses and briefing notes. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders and provide representation on committees and working parties will be essential to this role.
