Role Description
The National File Allocation Specialist is responsible for managing the national file allocations of indemnified notifications and claims, ensuring that the right file is assigned to the right team or roles across the Medical Indemnity business and external panel partners.
This role will work closely with Claims Managers, Team Leaders, and Heads of Practice to ensure appropriate allocation of work, in the best interest of our members.
This role is fundamental to ensuring we leverage our Service Principles for our members, providing operational effectiveness in getting the right file to the right team.
* Allocating files nationally to the right team member/s across the business, meeting service and quality assurance standards.
* In conjunction with Claims and Leadership, ensure allocation tools are regularly updated, incorporating data on capability, capacity, and complexity to support effective decision-making tools.
* Working with the Claims Excellence team to seek continuous improvement to the Allocation processes, considering ways to make the allocations process more efficient and streamlined while meeting national claims framework standards.
