As our Platform Support Engineer, you will help maintain the stability, performance and scalability of the applications that keep Novatti running. You will blend thoughtful troubleshooting with strong DevOps practices to make sure our services stay seamless, reliable and ready for what comes next for our customers and for our team. Working closely with our development, infrastructure and operations teams, you will guide the resolution of complex issues, automate the day to day, and strengthen the way our systems connect. Your skills across Linux, scripting, automation platforms and AWS will help us improve processes, increase reliability and support the continuous delivery of secure, high quality solutions that meet our regulatory and business needs. Importantly, in this role, you will: Act as a key escalation point for production issues, using strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve problems quickly while keeping system health and performance steady for our users. Create and maintain automation scripts in Python, Bash or Perl, and build workflow integrations in Workato or Zapier to streamline processes and reduce manual effort. Support and maintain Linux systems, using logs, diagnostics and error tracing to ensure stability, security and smooth performance. Deploy and manage applications in AWS, using cloud native tools to support scalability, resilience and cost awareness. Maintain code repositories in Git and support CI and CD pipelines, helping the team follow version control best practice. Write clear documentation and troubleshooting guides that make knowledge easy to share and support continuous improvement across the team. Participate in an on call rotation to support high priority incidents and help maintain system reliability outside standard hours. What You’ll Bring Proven experience in application support with strong troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities in production environments. Proficiency in scripting languages (Perl, Python, Bash) and automation platforms such as Workato, Zapier or similar tools. Strong Linux system administration skills with expertise in log analysis, diagnostics and system optimisation. Hands‑on experience with AWS cloud services, infrastructure management and cloud‑native tools. Solid understanding of Git version control, CI/CD practices and database management (SQL).
