Electrician
We are looking for a dependable and skilled Electrician to join the close-knit Maintenance team at the Wiluna processing Facility. Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, you will have responsibility for carrying out preventative, and breakdown maintenance to fixed and mobile plant. Your safety-focus and collaborative approach will ensure that plant equipment is maintained at a high level of availability at all times, while contributing to a cohesive work environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Developing and working within site safety structures;
* Preparation of JHA's and Take 5's prior to commencing tasks;
* Repair and maintain all electrical equipment and process control.
* Maintain lighting, switches, and electrical equipment in safe working order.
* Install wiring and circuits for extensions and additions to work sites.
* Carry out electrical fitting, high voltage switching and electronics.
* Maintain communications and telecommunications systems.
* Ensure safe work practices near electrical outlets.
* Read wiring diagrams to plan layout of wiring systems.
* Install insulated cables and connect switches, outlets, and other fittings.
* Provide enough wiring systems for electrical plant.
* Connect cables to circuit breakers, transformers, motors, heaters etc.
* Test circuits.
* Connect systems to power supplies.
* Complete electrical calculations.
* Test equipment using meters.
* Undertake high voltage switching.
* Inspecting work area and plant hazards, damage, and defects.
* Examining drawings or specifications to determine work methods, sequence of activities or manufacture of components.
* Estimating time and materials required to complete jobs.
* Raising orders for materials.
* Diagnosing faults or breakdowns.
* Undertaking repairs or component changeouts as required.

You can have the following experience and qualifications:
* Previous gold fixed plant and instrumentation experience
* Minimum 3 years relevant industrial experience
* Working at Heights Certificate
* EWP High Risk License
* Confined Space Certificate
* WA Electrical License & HV Ticket
* First Aid Certificate
* Ability to work under pressure
* Ability to use time effectively to complete tasks
* Excellent verbal communication skills
* Ability to work effectively with others
* Reliable, responsible, able to maintain alertness, must be assertive, have physical fitness
* Knowledge of plant and safety awareness, commitment to company values
