Values in Action Scotland (VIAS) is recruiting for the post of Senior Lead Consultant (Job Coaching) based in Aberdeen. Reporting to the Development Lead, the successful candidate will lead the Project SEARCH University of Aberdeen initiative, aiming to establish VIAS as one of the top performing sites across the UK.

Background
VIAS is a Quality Improvement Service committed to ensuring that people with learning disabilities and/or neurodivergent individuals have the same opportunities as everyone else and are supported to achieve their goals. Through job coaching, training, consultancy, and evaluation services, VIAS builds the capacity of individuals and organisations to realise their full potential.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with supported employment and/or employability programmes, be confident in guiding Project SEARCH interns to success, and possess expertise in researching potential employers to secure internships and job openings. Strong stakeholder engagement skills are essential, as is the ability to develop and maintain successful partnerships. Knowledge of funding sources linked to employment and proficiency in drafting and submitting grant applications are required. Experience with the challenges and activities that affect people with learning disabilities and/or neurodivergent individuals will be an advantage.

Further Details
The post is permanent, following an initial 6‐month probationary period. A PVG check will be conducted on the successful applicant.
