Key Responsibilities
* Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
* Providing companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging them in social activities and outings
* Monitoring clients' health and wellbeing, and reporting any changes or concerns to the care management team
* Collaborating with the wider care team to ensure a holistic, person-centred approach to care
* Adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and industry regulations to ensure the safety and wellbeing of clients
Requirements
* A caring and compassionate nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of others
* Relevant experience in the aged care or disability support sector, or a willingness to undertake training
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients
* Flexibility and adaptability, as you may be required to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
* A valid driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
* A current First Aid certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
