A major Federal program is expanding its security architecture capability and is seeking an experienced Security Architect to guide complex solution designs across enterprise and cloud environments. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, governance, and deep technical assurance, ideal for someone who can influence direction, uplift capability, and bring structure to complexity.
What you'll be doing
* Developing current-state and target-state security architectures across enterprise and cloud ecosystems
* Providing risk-based design guidance to architects, engineers, and delivery teams
* Leading architecture governance and ensuring alignment to security strategy, standards, and patterns
* Conducting complex systems design reviews and identifying risks, gaps, and improvement opportunities
* Ensuring security requirements traceability across the solution lifecycle
* Delivering solution assurance and supporting approvals through architecture and stakeholder boards
* Translating technical risk into clear, actionable advice for senior stakeholders
What you bring
* Genuine security architecture capability across enterprise and cloud environments
* Strong understanding of security patterns, reference architectures, and secure design principles
* Ability to review and challenge complex technical designs with confidence
* Experience in risk management, security assurance, and design governance
* Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Active NV2 or TSPV clearance (mandatory)
* Defence, ASD, or other high-assurance environment experience (highly regarded)
