About This Role
As the Communications and Design Officer, you will develop, deliver and manage targeted statewide communication initiatives for the Queensland Voluntary Assisted Dying Support and Pharmacy Service (QVAD SPS).
Key Aspects of the Role
Leading the design and delivery of internal and external communication campaigns.
Managing content across digital platforms including Vision6, Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
Liaising with internal staff and external stakeholders to write, edit and contribute to multi-channel communication materials.
Developing high-quality digital and print assets such as infographics, publications, brochures, strategy documents and annual reports.
Providing guidance on branding, design and creative direction across the service.
About You
You are an experienced communications and design professional who thrives in a strategic, fast-paced environment.
You Will Bring
Strong written communication skills, with the ability to create clear, impactful materials across multiple formats.
Demonstrated experience developing and coordinating communication strategies, campaigns and stakeholder engagement activities.
Proven skills in providing creative direction, managing design workflows and delivering high-quality outputs.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and experience with SharePoint (highly desirable).
Qualifications in graphic design or marketing (highly desirable).
