This role involves strategic land use planning and policy development, working collaboratively with senior planners to deliver projects. The ideal candidate has knowledge in strategic planning, practices and trends including the planning scheme amendment process and relevant legislation.
A key requirement is a recognised qualification in town planning or a related field, along with relevant experience in strategic or statutory planning. Key skills include verbal and written communication, project management, complex investigation, report writing and presentation.
The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously. They will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and devise solutions.
