Chillin Air Conditioning and Electrical - Project and Scheduling Officer

Are you an experienced administrator with a keen eye for detail and a passion for the construction industry? Chillin Air Conditioning and Electrical is looking for a dynamic Project and Scheduling Officer to join our friendly, fast-paced team, based in Hervey Bay

Role overview:

As a Project and Scheduling Officer, you'll play a crucial role in supporting the successful execution of our air conditioning and electrical projects. You will be responsible for managing the administrative and project-related tasks that ensure the smooth operation of all works.

Key Responsibilities:

* Scheduling: Assist with day-to-day scheduling of works to be delivered, working in partnership with the Hervey Bay team to ensure all tasks are delivered as per builders timeframes.
* Coordination with builders: Communicate with builders regarding onsite variations and queries, ensuring any issues are addressed efficiently.
* AroFlo software management: Assist with day-to-day AroFlo requirements, including the creation of tasks, scheduling, and ensuring return visits are managed smoothly.
* Warehouse support: Assist with warehouse coordination to help ensure materials and equipment are prepared and available for upcoming jobs. Assist with stocktakes, monitor inventory levels, and communicate any issues with relevant team members. Support the movement and organisation of stock as needed to maintain workflow efficiency.
* Project auditing: Stay across project timelines, flagging any potential issues, and assisting with general project administration to ensure projects remain on track.
* General administrative tasks: Ensure accurate record keeping, updating and managing company documentation, create and modify templates. Ensure all administrative functions are handled efficiently.

Who we're looking for:

We're looking for someone who is organised, proactive, and has strong communication skills. You will need to be able to juggle multiple tasks and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and experience required:

* Experience in project scheduling within the air conditioning, electrical or construction industry (domestic properties) is preferred.
* Experience in project administration or a similar role within the air conditioning, electrical or construction industry is preferred.
* Ability to learn warehouse management within the air conditioning, electrical or construction industry.
* Proficiency with administration tools like Excel and project management software, ideally AroFlo.
* Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritise tasks.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with both internal teams and external clients.
* A proactive attitude and a willingness to take on new challenges.
