About the role
Bring your current industry experience and knowledge in Nursing and join our vibrant team of Teachers in this exciting permanent, full-time opportunity at both Armidale and Inverell Campus's.
TAFE Teachers are professional educators who help, construct, guide and enhance the educative process. The successful candidate in this role will deliver educational programs and facilitate learning, enabling students to achieve their best outcomes.
About You
You have the ambition and drive to succeed and mentor your students, passing on your experience and knowledge. You will also have the ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with stakeholders including industry and students.
We are looking for a passionate and engaged individual who meets the following:
Essential Requirements:
* Bachelor of Nursing (minimum) and current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
* Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training. See the candidate support document (here) for details.
* Minimum three years relevant post-qualification experience in acute care as a Registered Nurse, gained no longer than five years ago
* Be prepared to continue to develop their Vocational Education and Training (VET) knowledge and skills as well as their industry currency and trainer/assessor competence.
