About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Maintenance Officer. As a key member of our property services team, you will be responsible for ensuring the maintenance of our facilities is carried out to a high standard, providing a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out preventative maintenance, repairs and improvement works to the building, grounds and equipment in-line with maintenance schedules
* Ensure the physical environment for residents is neat, comfortable, safe and hazard free
* Perform landscaping and garden maintenance; general repairs and waste removal
* Oversee, maintain, assess and provide recommendations on replacement of assets if, and as required
* Assist in the management of Property Services projects
* Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety and Property Services Quality Assurance procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Formal qualifications or relevant skills training or experience
* Experience in Property Maintenance and Building Works
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience in Occupational Health and Safety
* The ability to solve problems independently
