**Job Title:** Category Manager
**Job Description:
As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for delivering the Category Strategy to buy the best range and create value for our customers to maximise sales, profit and customer satisfaction and optimise inventory. This involves partnering with the Senior Category Manager to build the category strategy by gaining a thorough understanding of customer insights & the market to contribute to the overall business strategy.
You will curate ranges, refine pricing and promotion channel plan in line with the Category Strategy, using Customer and Market insights to ensure it's aligned to the overall business objectives. Additionally, you will partner with Suppliers to build relationship and optimise supplier portfolio in category to increase sales, profit and customer advocacy.
Furthermore, you will work closely with BIGW Asia & Graphic Packaging Design Team to maximise own brand offers & grow customer advocacy where relevant. You will also take end-to-end ownership of category performance, from strategy to execution, and drive commercial outcomes through data-led buying decisions and range optimisation.
Other key responsibilities include leading supplier negotiations to secure the best value and terms, leveraging customer insights and market trends to influence product selection and pricing, and collaborating cross-functionally with supply chain, marketing, and merchandise planning teams.
