Social Meteor is looking for an experienced and self-driven Social Media Specialist to join their team. As a Social Media Specialist, your main duty will be to manage and execute paid and organic social media strategies for a wide range of Perth's most exciting clients on channels such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Linked, adapting content to suit each different channel and client.

**Role & Responsibilities**
- Manage the day-to-day handling of client social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and Linkedin, adapting content to suit each different channel and client.
- Curate and create engaging multimedia content (and/or outsource this effectively) across multiple platforms.
- Write highly-engaging social copy, uniquely relevant to the platform and true to the client's brand voice.
- Manage and oversee the social media components of all client campaigns.
- Collaborate with the accounts and sales teams to ensure consistency and client satisfaction.
- Oversee, plan and deliver content across different platforms using scheduling tools such as Facebook Creator Studio
- Oversee the creation and implementation of social media calendars.
- Monitor, track, analyse and report on performance on social media platforms using tools such as Facebook insights. And tweak strategy accordingly.
- Manage a budget for social media activities and report on ROI.
- Strategise and implement new ways to leverage social media to drive web traffic and community engagement.
- Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, monitor community feedback and develop online discussions.
- Launch new digital channels.
- Continually learn, test, measure & optimise performance on all social media activities.
- 3+ years' experience managing social media channels
- An extremely strong understanding of all social media platforms, especially Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok
- Strong copywriting and editing skills
- A strong understanding of social media algorithms
- A strong understanding of social media KPIs
- Experience in graphic design
- Experience managing paid campaigns through Facebook Ad Manager
- A solid understanding of the Australian tourism industry
- Extreme attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills, with the capacity to priortise work across multiple projects, channels and campaigns
- Online community management skills
- Strong team working and collaboration skills
- The ability to take initiative and excel in a fast-paced environment
- Superior time and deadline management skills
- A high client service ethic
- A familiarity with Google Analytics
- A familiarity with Adobe Design Suite

- A passionate interest and knowledge of all things digital

A degree qualification in appropriate disciplines such as marketing, media, communications or graphic design would be highly advantageous but not absolutely essential.
