ABOUT THE ROLE
We are recruiting for the position of Commercial Manager, based at our Head Office in Glendenning in Western Sydney. The position reports directly to the Group General Manager/Director and forms a key member of the senior leadership team, whilst also acting as 2IC.
As part of your day-to-day you will:
Oversee the commercial functions of the Rushmore Group, including the financial management aspects, business strategy and planning, legal matters, along with negotiation of commercial trading terms with suppliers and customers.
Lead and manage the finance teams based in Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland.
Work closely with both the marketing and product management teams (dotted line) regarding pricing, cost control, stock management and maximising sales and profit results.
Undertake strategic projects including mergers and acquisitions.
ABOUT YOU
Provensuccessful performance in a previous senior commercial leadership position, with a minimum of 5 years' relevant experience.
Exceptional written and verbal communicator, with strong attention to detail in all respects.
Analytical and logical thinker.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a high-volume transactional environment.
Able to communicate and present effectively, building rapport and developing relationships with all company stakeholders.
Effective time management skills to prioritize and achieve daily goals and activities.
Advanced level of skill in Microsoft Excel, and intermediate level of skill (minimum) inMicrosoft Outlook and Word.
You must be a self-starter who is highly motivated to achieve targets and succeed both individually, and as part of a team.
Qualified CA or CPA is strongly preferred.
